Success in Motivation – Firewalking
The Methodology of Anthony Robbins
Anthony Robbins, a self-help writer and professional speaker, is known for his interesting motivational seminars. Born in the northern part of Hollywood, California, Robbins’ life story covers years of personal trials ranging from his parents’ divorce to the discovery of a tumor in his pituitary gland. All these he was able to survive by motivating himself and believing in what he can do.
This determination is the central focus of most of his seminars. Early on in his career, Anthony Robbins learned how to firewalk from Tolly Burkan, co-founder of the Firewalking Institute of Research and Education. Inspired by Burkan and motivational speaker, Jim Rohn, Anthony Robbins crafted his own seminar and incorporated firewalking into it. (Firewalking is the act of walking barefoot over hot coals or embers.) Robbins believes that this experience will help motivate people to have more faith in themselves and in what they can do. Participants were simply asked to draw courage from within.
Anthony Robbins calls himself a peak performance coach because what he does is try to find out what a person is capable of doing and then helps them achieve that peak state. His seminars are meant to inspire people to take action in order to achieve greatness.
Inspired by his desire to help people, Anthony Robbins has come up with a number of seminars aimed at helping people discover their potential. He considers himself a catalyst who empowers a person to take risks in order to achieve positive change.
Unleash the Power Within is Anthony Robbins’ firewalk seminar. This technique has helped him earn the admiration of some of the world’s most popular personalities ranging from the late Princess Diana to former President Bill Clinton.
